ESE (v25.4)

The Data Management Agent is installed on the machine that gets backed up. Use the Agent to easily manage your backups, restores, archiving, and more.

When installing your Agent, you will be asked to fill in the Storage Platform Group GUID for the account, as well as the Account Create Key. To obtain these, follow the steps in Article 1416 and Article 1524.

Platform (v24.5)

Installer for on-premises Storage Platforms.

Important: Storage Platform v24.5 contains a fix to enable recognition of newer certificates used to sign client updates. For this to take effect, you will need to edit the AccountServer's ConnectionStrings.config file. Before updating to v24.5, follow the steps in Article 1542.
