Redstor Pro uses a custom SIMS plug-in (SIMS, FMS, Discover) which, when configured correctly, will initiate DBAttach.exe. This will make backup copies of SIMS.bak and master.bak.
For each new SIMS/FMS/Discover release, both backups and restores are executed to verify the compatibility between the Redstor Pro SIMS plug-in and the updated SIMS/FMS/Discover environment.
Redstor uses Agile methodologies to develop and test the SIMS plug-in.
